Some of us choose team members based on technical skills.

And there are those are chosen by their innate qualities.

And in due time, we realise that for some projects, innate qualities have a slight edge over technical skills for a successful project.

For any project that I was helming, I used to pick the ones with certain qualities.

But after watching Ted Lasso (all 4 seasons), I learnt how some Lasso Characters make for an awesome team.

So who are these characters? And what do they bring to the table?

4. Roy Kent

First up, we have Roy Kent. You would have realised that no matter which episode you watch, one thing sticks out like a sore thumb - and it's not his well-manicured beard.

It's his brutal honesty. And today's world, it’s so hard to find honest people.

Honest people make a great team player. Why?

Simple. Regardless of what project you lead, you need a black hat to question the efficacy of your ideas and effectiveness.
